Construction, Facilities & Maintenance

Harvard is committed to inclusive excellence and continues to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in faculty, staff, and student populations and through its procurement processes. To achieve the University’s goals for diversity and inclusion in construction, Harvard has created the Harvard Construction Inclusion Plan, which details participation goals for underrepresented business enterprises (UBEs) in construction projects. Among the efforts to increase the pool of suppliers and trade partners from diverse and underrepresented groups, the Office for Economic Inclusion & Diversity offers a wealth of tools, resources, and training opportunities, including the New Contractor Toolkit and the Harvard Construction Academy.
