Why Economic Inclusion & Diversity?

Harvard University aims to be the world’s recognized leader in sustainable inclusive excellence by fostering a campus culture where everyone in our community can thrive. Working in close collaboration with schools and offices across the University, the Office for Economic Inclusion & Diversity is the University’s leader in advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging through championing supplier diversity in our procurement processes.

Our goal in fostering supplier diversity is to ensure that businesses owned by underrepresented groups have equal opportunity and access to compete for contracts at Harvard, promoting equitable economic growth, diversity, and a more inclusive business community.
